IND vs NZ: Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were involved in an animated chat after New Zealand batting pair of Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell gave India a massive scare at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Sunday, October 22.
After the end of the 31st over which saw Kuldeep Yadav leak 13 runs, Kohli walked up to Rohit to give his inputs. Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell were both batting on an individual score of 68 runs each. The third wicket partnership between them had surged to 141.

The two greats of the India cricket were seemingly talking about the technical aspect of the game and their body language suggested that they had contrasting views over the way forward in the match.
The 159-run partnership between the New Zealand duo was finally brought to an end by Shami when Ravindra (75 off 87) was dismissed in the 34th over. The wicket helped India bounce back in the match. New Zealand, who were once cruising at 178/2 and looked set to post a 300-plus total, were restricted to 273 all-out in 50 overs.
Notably, India and New Zealand are the only two unbeaten teams after 20 matches in World Cup 2023. India are eyeing to avenge their 2019 semi-final defeat against New Zealand and maintain their unbeaten run in the tournament. India last defeated New Zealand in an ICC event back in 2003.
