BCCI has named an addition to the India squad for the final two Test matches against New Zealand.
Washington Sundar has been called up to join the Indian squad for the upcoming matches in the Test series against New Zealand, as it was announced on Sunday (October 20).

Sundar will meet his teammates in Pune, where the second Test is scheduled to take place. The squad now includes notable players like Rohit Sharma, serving as the captain, and Jasprit Bumrah as vice-captain.
The inclusion of Sundar is poised to add depth to the team's lineup, offering more options in both the batting and bowling departments. Although India have Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel already in the team, Sundar's inclusion indicates they may make a much more spin-oriented approach in the final two matches. Interestingly, it means India now have four spin-bowling all-rounders in the team.
Washington Sundar has made a superb start to the domestic campaign. He scored a fantastic hundred for Tamil Nadu in their ongoing Ranji match against Delhi, later also scalped a couple of wickets with the ball.
Rohit Sharma (C), Jasprit Bumrah (VC), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (WK), Dhruv Jurel (WK), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohd. Siraj, Akash Deep, Washington Sundar.
