India will take on New Zealand in an ICC World Cup 2023 match on Sunday (October 22) at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.
The two teams have won their first four matches and will be looking to consolidate their rich vein of form in Dharamshala. It is to be seen how they come up against each other, but will nature play a part in the match?

The World Cup 2023 matches have been mostly uninterrupted by rain or other natural calamities. But in the past few days, there have been matches in which rain has played a part. In Lucknow, there was momentary rain which halted the game for some time. While in Dharamshala itself, rain even curtailed the over of a match between South Africa and the Netherlands.
The question is how the weather will behave on Sunday in the match between India and New Zealand. Remember, Dharamshala, being a mountainous city can have certain changes in weather in a very short time. So keeping that in mind, let us have a look at the weather forecast of the Himachal Pradesh City on Sunday.
On Sunday (October 22), Dharamshala is set to have a tumultuous weather. The sky will remain mostly cloudy and the temperature will be around 18° C during day, which will get down to 11° C at night, which is significantly lower than the average temperature of these parts at this time of the year.
There is a 42 per cent chance of rain and a 25 per cent chance of thunderstorms. But the expected rain is around 2.1 mm, which is pretty minimal and is likely to play no part in the fate of the match.
It looks set at the moment to have a full 100-over game and we can hope only that the weather won't have any drastic change in the final 24 hours.
