Team India skipper Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli will look to carry on their form when the Men in Blue face arch-rivals Pakistan in their second Group A encounter of the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai on Sunday (February 23).
Both the Indian senior batters, had come into the eight-team ICC tournament on the back of mixed form, but Kohli and Rohit have delivered a number of fine performances against the Men in Green across the white-ball formats.

The IND vs PAK game, which garners more attention, is a high-stakes battle for both teams in the Champions Trophy, as Pakistan will try to keep their title defence alive, while India will aim to all, but confirm their berth in the semi-final.
The game is also being touted as an opportunity for India to avenge the loss of the 2017 Champions Trophy Final when Virat Kohli's men were deprived of putting their hands on the ICC trophy.
Unlike the 50-over and T20 World Cups, Pakistan holds a 3-2 advantage over India in the Champions Trophy. The most notable encounter remains the 180-run triumph in the 2017 Champions Trophy final, which makes Sunday's game even more exciting for fans from both sides of the border.
With so much to play for, all eyes will be on Rohit and Kohli to step up against their rivals and carry forward their great run against Pakistan. Here is a look at their numbers vs Pakistan:
In 19 ODIs against Pakistan, Rohit has scored 873 runs at an average of 51.35, with a strike rate of 92.38, with two centuries and eight fifties. His best score is 140 that came in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Kohli, on the other hand, has scored 678 runs in 16 ODIs against Pakistan at an average of 52.15 and a strike rate of 100.29, with three centuries and two fifties and best score of 183, which came in the 2012 Asia Cup.
Although Kohli has a great record against Pakistan in white-ball cricket, the star India batter has made two single digit scores along with a century and half-century in his last five innings vs the rivals, while Rohit has two fifties and two hundreds in his last five ODI outings against Pakistan.
