IND vs PAK, Champions Trophy 2025: Virat Kohli Scripts History During India-Pakistan Match, Beats Mohammed Azharuddin In Elite List

Virat Kohli has added yet another milestone to his illustrious career, becoming the Indian fielder with the most catches in ODI cricket. The 36-year-old surpassed Mohammad Azharuddin's record of 156 catches during India's ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 Group A encounter against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium.

With this achievement, Kohli now has 157 outfield catches in the 50-over format, trailing only Sri Lanka's Mahela Jayawardene (218) and Australia's Ricky Ponting (160) in the all-time list. Among Indian players, Azharuddin (156), Sachin Tendulkar (140), Rahul Dravid (124), and Suresh Raina (102) complete the top five.
