IND vs PAK: Former Pakistan PM trolled for mocking India with 'They Cannot Play' Shaheen Afridi post

IND vs PAK: Shaheen Afridi was on fire against India in the league stage match and his sensational opening burst saw India getting reduced to 66/4. The left-arm pacer clean bowled India captain Rohit Sharma with an unplayable delivery before uprooting the wickets of Virat Kohli as well.

Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya kept India afloat with a 138-run partnership but the 23-year-old returned to send Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja packing. India, who were cruising at 204/4 in 37.2 overs were bundled out for 266 in 48. 5 overs.

Shaheen Afridi finished with match figures of 4/35 in 10 overs. The performance from Shaheen Afridi prompted former Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif to post "They Cannot Play Him" on X (formerly Twitter).

The same post came to haunt Sharif after the star pacer was hammered for 79 runs in 10 overs which saw him pick just one wicket in the Super Fours match against India.

He was taken to the cleaners by the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli as India went on to post 356/2 in 50 overs. Babar Azam had to remove him from attack after Gill hammered three boundaries each in his second and third over.

Not only did India hammer Shaheen Afridi, they also went on to register their biggest win over Pakistan. Pakistan were bundled out for 128 in 32 overs as India won by 228 runs.

Here is how fans have trolled the former Pakistan PM.
