Ahead of the monumental clash against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy 2025, Indian fans are in agony as Virat Kohli's involvement on Sunday is under the cloud.
The star batter was spotted on Saturday in the Dubai stadium with an ice pack around his ankle, which has created speculations about his future against Pakistan.

Several images circulating online show Kohli sitting in the dugout with an ice pack wrapped around his ankle, raising concerns about his fitness. Fans are growing anxious as India gears up to face Pakistan on February 23, knowing they cannot afford to lose Kohli for such a high-stakes encounter.
Journalist Ankan Kar, who is in UAE, further fueled speculation by sharing a photo of Kohli walking with an ice pack strapped to his ankle. The India player's mobility is unknown from the photo but it can be an issue, although BCCI is yet to make any official comment on it.
It remains unclear whether he sustained a minor injury during practice or simply experienced discomfort around the ankle region.
Kohli came three hours early to the practice on Saturday and practised against 10-12 net bowlers. He was not seen in any discomfort during batting, suggesting it may only be an impact injury. Although Kohli has been short of runs in recent times, the Indian maverick has a superb record against Pakistan and will be a major miss for India if he fails to play.
As of now, there is no official update regarding Kohli's injury. With the team being tight-lipped at the moment, it seems Virat's injury not that serious and the India star is likely to feature against Pakistan tomorrow (Sunday, February 23).
The Indian team won their first match against Bangladesh and a win against Pakistan would ensure their place in the semifinals of the tournament.
