155 in 20 overs, 203 in 30 overs and 329 in 40 overs. A few players walked out to warm-up but rain has forced them inside again.
The match overs set to be reduced. DLS to come into play. The covers are off and the umpires are inspecting the field.
Bumrah hits his third boundary and then looks to clear the deep mid-wicket boundary off the slower delivery from Naseem Shah. No power behind the shot and Salman Agha takes a good catch. Indian innings wrapped at 266 in 48.5 overs. India were heading towards a 300-run total but twin strike from Shaheen Afridi to dismiss Hardik and Jadeja in the 44th derailed India's momentum towards the end. Regardless, a fighting total and India would now look to strike early on in the innings like Pakistan. Early wickets would be the key.
Only the second time Pakistan pacers have taken all 10 wickets against India in an ODI. Last time it was in Birmingham in Champions Trophy in 2004. #IndvPak

Back of a length delivery, rises to a good height and Kuldeep ends up edging the ball into the hands of wicket-keeper Rizwan. IND: 262/9 in 48.3 overs.
Shaheen Afridi completes his 10 over quota. Two wickets at the top and two towards the end, all four did wonders for Pakistan. Top stuff from the Pakistan pace spearhead. India need to find a way around him.
Back of a length delivery from Haris Rauf and Bumrah leans forward to drive it through covers for a four. IND: 257/8 in 47 overs.
From 239/5 in 43 overs, India down to 242/8 in 44.1 overs. The opportunity to post a 300-run target has been lost. Shardul tried working out the ball on the leg side but a leading edge and the ball goes into the hands of Shadab Khan at early. He closed the face of his bat early.
Shaheen Afridi strikes again. Jadeja departs for 14 off 22. Full on the wider side of off-stump, Jadeja goes for the drive but ends up edging the ball into the hands of Rizwan. Untimely blows for India.
A slower delivery on off and Hardik falls for the traop, ends up giving a catch to Agha Salman at short cover. A handsome 87-run knock off 90 balls comes to an end,. Standing ovation for the star all-rounder.
Two boundaries in the 42nd over from Shadab. Jadeja rocks back on the first delivery and pulled one through mid-wicket. Later, Hardik cuts one through backward point for another four. IND: 237/5 in 42 overs.
Three boundaries in the 40th over from Haris Rauf. Cuts it hard through backward point for four before playing one really late towards the third man boundary. The third four came on the fourth delivery when he pulled one strongly through mid-wicket. 12 from the over. IND: 221/5 in 40 overs.
A memorable innings from Ishan Kishan comes to an end. He was seen limping. Misjudged the length and the length delivery hit the toe-end of the bat as he tried to execute the pull. The miscued shot ballooned up and landed into the hands of Babar Azam at mid-on. However, he has done his job. The 138-run partnership off 141 balls is highest for the fifth wicket in Asia Cup history.
The Indian batters getting into the groover now. 300 runs within the range now. Gets on his knees and slog sweeps it over mid-wicket for a six. A double on the next delivery brings up 200 runs for India in the 37th over.
A highly mature inning from Hardik Pandya who raises his bat after completing a 62-ball fity. The partnership between him and Ishan Kishan accounting for 113 runs off 121 balls now. IND: 178/4 in 34 overs.
On the middle stump and full, Ishan Kishan makes a bit of room and slams it over the bowler's head for a six.
50 off 54 balls for Ishan Kishan on Asia Cup debut. Solid innings from him which has revived India's innings. Fourth consecutive ODI fifty for Ishan Kishan in the ODI format. He negated through the pacers before taking on the spinners. IND: 147/4 in 29 overs.
Full and in the radar from Nawaz as Ishan Kishan just drives it through mid-off and cover for a cracking boundary. Three short of fifty now.
A short delivery which finished around Hardik's waist height. Hardik uses the opportunity to hammer it between mid-off and mid-wicket.
A 50-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya. India's score has gone past 100. A good recovery from them. The duo scoring briskly against spinners Shadab and Nawaz. India would eye to post a 250-260 run target. IND: 117/4. Kishan (41* off 43), Hardik (22* off 25).
Second wicket for Haris Rauf. Shubman Gill clean bowled, departs for 10 off 32. 147kmph delivery which comes back in slightly. An inside edge goes to hit the stumps as Gill leans forward to defend it. Huge gap between bat and pad. India four down for 66.
The play has resumed and India are three down for 58 after 13. A six from Ishan Kishan on the fourth delivery from Rauf. Haris Rauf bowls 147 kmph and 146 kmph dot deliveries to end the over.
Just a passing shower. So much like the English weather. Covers have been taken off once again. Conditions brighter now. These breaks are not helping Indian batters through.
India: 51/3 in 11.2 overs as rain stops play for the second time today. Shubman Gill (6* off 24) and Ishan Kishan (2* off 6) walk out with Pakistan players. Covers back on the field. Pakistan players extremely relaxed as they walk out after running through Indian top order.

Soft dismissal. Wasn't needed. A short delivery and Iyer, who was looking so good, plays it straight into the hands of Fakhar at short mid-wicket. Iyer looks devastated. India three down for 48 in three overs.

First boundary for Gill after facing 19 deliveries. Rauf misses his length again, bowls one on the leg and Gill pounces on the opportunity to play it towards fine leg for a boundary. He just had to time it. 149.7 kmph delivery from Rauf.
Iyer times another one to perfection. Good length delivery which stayed low and Iyer flicks it through mid-on for a four. The right-hander shining in his comeback match. India need a big one from him. All eyes on Shreyas Iyer!
Sensational cover drive for a four. Perfectly timed and the pace of the Haris Rauf delivery break the toe-end of Iyer's bat. It's all happening in the middle.

Haris Rauf has come to bowl the eighth over and Shreyas Iyer has shown positive intent against him. Drives the second delivery through covers for a double. It should have been a four, but the outfield slow here.
Second one for Shaheen. Trouble for India. Virat Kohli gone. Beautiful length again. Kohli tried playing working out short delivery on the off-stump on the off-side and chips the delivery onto the stumps in the process. Shaheen doing what he did against India at the T20 World Cup 2021. Massive moment in the game.

Pakistan Squad: Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam(c), Mohammad Rizwan(w), Agha Salman, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Abdullah Shafique, Saud Shakeel, Usama Mir

Pakistan are a very well balanced ODI team at the moment. Their pace unit is just electric and they also have got some handy spinners led by Shadab Khan. The coming to form of Iftikhar Ahmed has strengthened their batting unit as well.
Eyes are on India's playing eleven. KL Rahul is out of the first two matches, while Shreyas Iyer and Jasprit Bumrah are returning to ODI cricket after a long injury layoff. In Rahul's absence, Ishan Kishan will be keeping the wickets.
