Former India captain MS Dhoni has been captured watching the high-octane Champions League 2025 clash between India and Pakistan on Sunday (February 23).

India are up against the arch-rivals Pakistan in a crucial encounter and the former India captain couldn't get away from the Television set.

Dhoni is currently in a promotion for Chennai Super Kings ahead of IPL 2025, and the CSK supremo was seen enjoying India's match at the shooting set along with other crew members.

There was a speculation ahead of the match that Dhoni will be making his commentary debut at Star Sports along with Bollywood star Sunny Deol, but instead, the duo were seen watching the match together. The legendary cricketer was captured with Deol and the duo also shared pleasant exchanges before concentrating on the match.

MS Dhoni's CSK Jersey sparks Debate

Dhoni's unwavering association with CSK continues as he prepares for the IPL 2025 season. Under his leadership, CSK has clinched the IPL title five times, with their most recent victory in 2023. The 2025 season is particularly significant, as it is anticipated to be Dhoni's final appearance in the tournament.

Reflecting on his journey, Dhoni shared at a recent event for Garuda Aerospace, "I only play a couple of months in a year, but I want to enjoy it the way I started playing; that's something that keeps me going."

But a section of fans were not amused with Dhoni as he boasted the Yellow jersey of the Chennai Super Kings. Some of the fans said the former India star should have worn a Blue jersey, especially amid a high-octane clash between India and Pakistan.

Although fans are emotional, it is understood that Dhoni was shooting for IPL 2025 related advertisement programme, which meant he had to wear only a CSK jersey.
