India vs Pakistan: Team News, Injury Update

India are without any injury woes but Varun Chakravarthy is nursing a niggle, as per reports. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma may be inclined to keep the same team against the Pakistan side. It is likely that Arshdeep Singh will replace Harshit Rana in the team for them.

Pakistan not just started with a defeat in Karachi, but also dealt with a significant blow as Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the tournament following a chest muscle injury. The southpaw's absence is a huge setback for them, who replaced him with Imam ul Haq. Along with Babar, Imam is likely to step into the side, while Pakistan are contemplating another change, which may see Kamran Ghulam replacing Saud Shakeel.

They are likely to field the same bowling unit, with three pacers and one spinner. Ghulam's inclusion in the team gives another spin option with his left-arm orthodox bowling.
