IND vs PAK: There will be five certain changes in the India playing eleven vs Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2024 match 19 on Sunday when compared to the team which played against the arch-rivals at the previous edition of the ICC showcase event which took place in Australia.

When India played against Pakistan at the T20 World Cup 2022, Dinesh Karthik was the team's wicketkeeper-batter. Karthik retired just ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, and Rishabh Pant is set to do the job for India behind the stumps.

Also, KL Rahul opened alongside captain Rohit Sharma in the match which India won by four wickets at the Melbourne Cricket ground (MCG). Virat Kohli is opening in the T20 World Cup 2024 alongside Rohit. KL Rahul hasn't been picked in the 15-member squad.

Premier bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami and Bhuvneshwar also featured in the India vs Pakistan T20 World Cup 2022 match. But none of them are even in the squad this time around.

While Axar Patel has been picked ahead of Ashwin, Shami is still injured. He missed the entire IPL 2024 season. Bhuvneshwar Kumar last played for India in November 2022.

Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj are the only three pacers who have been picked in India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad.
