IND vs PAK: Virat Kohli was forced to leave and wear the correct jersey early during India's World Cup 2023 match against Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The star cricketer forgot to wear the official Team India jersey for the ICC ODI World Cup 2023. The jersey Kohli was wearing had three white stripes on the shouders. The official World Cup jersey has tri-colour stripes on it. It was observed that Kohli's jersey did not match that of his teammates.

Virat Kohli immediately got off the field to don the correct team jersey with tri-colour stripes on it. He returned to the field and joined his teammates soon after the quick change.
In the match, India won the toss and elected to bowl first in front of a packed crowd of over one lakh. Shubman Gill returned to the India playing eleven after recovering from dengue and replaced Ishan Kishan.
India have won each of their seven ODI World Cup matches against Pakistan. In the ongoing 13th edition of the ODI World Cup, both India and Pakistan have won their first two matches.
The two teams recently met each other in the Asia Cup 2023. The Rohit Sharma-led side defeated Babar Azam's side twice before winning the continental trophy by beating Sri Lanka in the final.
