Virat Kohli has given his verdict on Pakistan bowling unit ahead of India's high-octane Asia Cup 2023 match against Pakistan on Saturday, September 2 in Pallekele.
The Pakistan bowling unit consisting of Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah and Shadab Khan has been termed 'impactful' by the former India captain, who admitted that each of the bowlers have the capability to turn the match on its head at any given time.

“I feel bowling is their strength. And they've got some really impactful bowlers that can change the course of the game anytime based on their skill set. So, you have to be at your absolute best to face them,” he told Star Sports ahead of the start of India's Asia Cup 2023 campaign.
Further, Virat Kohli, talking about his own game, said that striving to be better every day and working with the thought of winning games for India, was the key to be consistent over a long period of time. He said personal milestones are not the true reflection of a player's greatness.
"I don't think you can perform consistently without that mindset because if your performance is your only goal, then you can be satisfied and stop working hard. There is no limit to it.
"There is no set achievement that if you reach a certain stage, you've reached excellence. I think I strive for betterment every day, so that is a better word to use, and yes, performance obviously becomes a by-product because your mindset is 'How do I make my team win from this position?'" Kohli added.
Virat Kohli has scored 554 runs in 13 matches in the ODI format since last December at an impressive average of 50.36. Eyes will be on him as India look to grab their eighth Asia Cup title.
