India captain Rohit Sharma has detailed out the team mentality after beating Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday.
The Indian team displayed a magnificent performance in both bowling and batting. All the Indian bowlers played a pivotal role, triggering a massive downfall in the Pakistani batting lineup, restricting them to a meager score of 191.

India's Captain, Rohit Sharma, put on a spectacular show with the bat, convincingly scoring a vivid 86 runs off just 63 balls, paving the way for an effortless chase.
Although Pakistan started strongly and seemed settled at 155 for 2, they unfortunately stumbled soon after and were all out for a mere 191, losing eight wickets for a mere 36 runs. The Indian team had no trouble reaching the target championed by a brilliant Rohit Sharma who rattled the Pakistani bowling attack. Shreyas Iyer also contributed significantly with an exceptional unbeaten half-century, leading India to a comfortable victory by 7 wickets.
Rohit Sharma spoke after the post-match presentation and says they always have a clear plan on what to do.
"We were very clear with what we wanted to do. And, you know, leading up into the World Cup, guys got opportunity, and they made full use of that. I want to keep my fingers crossed. We dont want to get too excited, and we dont want to get too low as well. We want to stay balance moving forward," Rohit said after the victory.

Rohit also credited the bowlers for their cobined effort. Five Indian bowlers picked up two wickets each and the Indian captain says the importance of him to assess the conditions and use his bowlers according to that.
"It cannot be everyone's day, every day. You know, the guys who as a is having a good day needs to make sure that, you know, he gets a job done for the team And obviously my job as a captain is important there as well to read the conditions," the Indian captain further said.
India will be looking to stamp their authority at the summit of the table as they are up against Bangladesh in their next match on Thursday.
