IND vs PAK, World Cup 2023: Sachin Tendulkar brutally trolls Shoaib Akhtar as Ex-Pakistan pacer eats humble pie

As the fever of the India-Pakistan clash escalated in the ICC World Cup 2023, the banter between the ex-players of two teams also took a new turn.

The former players and current pundits of both countries got involved in friendly banters and clash of words ahead of the match. And again, Pakistani ex-cricketers have fallen to their words and been humbled for their pre-match flexing.

Sachin Tendulkar brutally trolls Shoaib Akhtar

One of the player who is very active on social media is Shoaib Akhtar, who generally has a robust opinion for everything. The ex-Pakistani pacer took matter in his own hands and he went on to take a dig at Sachin Tendulkar before the match in the name of banter.

He posted a picture of him dismissing Sachin Tendulkar on his X profile and captioned, "Kal agar asa kuch kerna hai, toh #ThandRakh" (If you want to do something similar tomorrow, then keep it cool).

India dismantled Pakistan on Saturday and registered a comprehensive victory at the Narendra Modi stadium. Rohit Sharma and his boys won the match convincingly by 7 wickets, making it 8-0 for India against Pakistan in World Cup.

And after India's stellar victory, Sachin Tendulkar sent a brutal reply to the former Pakistan pacer. The legendary cricketer took the banter out of Akhtar and commented, "My friend, aap ka advice follow kiya aur sab kuch billlkoool THANDA rakha...." (My friend, followed your advice and kept everything completely cool) with smileys.

Shoaib Akhtar ate the humble pie for flexing muscles prematurely and then replied Sachin Tendulkar back with a surrender message. The ex-Pakistan player sweetened the tone and said he reckons Sachin Tendulkar as the greatest of all.

"My friend you're the greatest player of all times to have graced the game and the biggest ambassador of it. Our friendly banter doesn't change that for sure," Akhtar replied.

Pakistan will be disappointed with the defeat, while India are flying high after three wins in three matches.
