IND vs SA: The T20 World Cup 2024 final between India and South Africa at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados will be played on a pace-friendly and bouncy pitch, reports have emerged.
England pacers picked seven wickets against USA in the last match played at this venue. However, the spinners have also found a lot of support. In the same match Adil Rashid was England's most impactful bowler with figures of 2/13 in four overs.

In the second-last match at Kensington Oval between West Indies and the USA, West Indies pacers picked five wickets but it was spinner Roston Chase, who stole the limelight with his figures of 3/19 in four overs, Leg-spinner Rashid Khan had also picked three wickets in the match against India.
But as per a report by journalist Vimal Kumar, pitch number four of Kensington Oval will host the final. The pitch four in Barbados is expected to be aid the pacers with good bounce.
South Africa would be licking their fingers if conditions would really be supportive for the pacers. Their pace unit consisting of Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen is world-class and has the potential to pose a good challenge to the India batters.
South Africa also have quality spinners in Tabraiz Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj, but their pace unit is more lethal. Also, India batters are known to be good players of spin. In pace-friendly conditions, South Africa would aim to jolt India with early blows.
However, India will also not be very perturbed by the reports of pace-friendly Barbados pitch for the T20 World Cup final. Jasprit Bumrah is the joint fourth-highest wicket-taker in the T20 World Cup 2024, while Arshdeep Singh is sitting at the second spot with 14 scalps. Hardik Pandya has also chipped in with eight wickets. India also have the option of bringing in Mohammed Siraj if needed.
