IND vs SA: Jasprit Bumrah registered his maiden Test five-wicket haul on Day 2 of the second Test at the Newlands in Cape Town on Thursday, January 4. It was his first Test five-for in South Africa.
As South Africa resumed from their overnight score of 62/3, Jasprit Bumrah struck four times in the first hour of the first session to complete his five-wicket haul and leave South Africa reeling at 111/7. Bumrah picked the wicket of debutant Tristan Stubbs in the final minutes of Day 1.

The star pacer picked two wickets in the first innings and helped India bundled out South Africa for 55 in the first innings. He has been exceptional since his comeback to international cricket after a year-long injury layoff. He picked four wickets in the only innings India bowled in the first Test match in Johannesburg.
India took a 98-run lead in the first innings, and put themselves in a favourable situation to win their first-ever Test match at the venue and level the 2-match series 1-1.
