Rahul Dravid will not be a part of the Indian coaching team for the upcoming ODI series against South Africa, BCCI confirmed in a release on Saturday (December 16).
After the conclusion of the T20I series, India is set to take the Proteas in a three-match ODI series which starts from Sunday. The Indian team will be led by KL Rahul and is loaded with youngsters who will be aiming to showcase their talent in the series.

But there won't be Rahul Dravid sitting at the helm when the Men in Blue lock horns in the 50-over matches. The India coach was in the dressing room during the T20I series, but will be busy with the Test squad along with his staff during the ODI series.
India will play an intra-squad Test before the two-match Test series against South Africa, and Dravid is set to be there spearheading the proceedings. Batting Coach Vikram Rathour, Bowling Coach Paras Mhambrey and Fielding Coach T. Dilip will also be alongside Dravid with the Test team.
The three members of India A's coaching team will be at the helm during the South Africa series.
Batting coach Sitanshu Kotak, Bowling coach Rajib Dutta and Fielding coach Ajay Ratra will be coaching the India team during the ODI series against South Africa, as BCCI confirmed.
