Rajasthan Royals has seen enough of their new recruit Nandre Burger and has booked a holiday ticket for him!
South African pacer Nandre Burger was roped in by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2024 auction at his base price. But even before putting on the jersey of his new team, Burger has already impressed his IPL employers.

The left-arm pacer has made international debut across all formats in this ongoing series against India. He made his debut in the T20I series, and then subsequently got his maiden caps in ODI, and most recently, in the 1st Test in Centurion.
And the Royals' new boy was excellent on his first outing for South Africa in the Red Ball format, as he picked up 7 wickets in the match. He picked up 3 wickets in the first inning, and backed it up with 4 more in the second.
The 28-year-old got Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul's wickets in both innings, and also scalped Shubman Gill on the first day of the match. With the help of Burger and his teammates, Proteas won the first Test by an innings and 32 runs.
And after Burger's impressive outing, Royals are keen to gift Burger a Jungle Safari. The Royals announced their wish to book Burger's trip on its social media.
"Well played, Nandre Burger. We've booked you a ticket for a Jungle Safari from Jan 3-7," the post wrote.
But if we look at the dates closely, we can get the ulterior motive behind, and it is a hilarious one.
Apparently, Royals are willing to book Burger's trip from January 3 to January 7, which is the span of the second Test match between India and South Africa. It was indeed a hilarious attempt from the IPL team to lure their star away from the Test match. But it seems Burger will deny the offer and opt to be at the Newlands.
