Ravindra Jadeja and the Indian team were baffled when the unavailability of DRS denied them the wicket of David Miller in the 3rd T20I match between India and South Africa on Thursday (December 14).
The Indian team secured a thumping victory by 106 runs in Johannesburg to level the series 1-1.

But amid their victory, an incident during the match is making rounds. In the 9th over of the match, Ravindra Jadeja's ball took an edge off David Miller's bat. Jitesh Sharma completed the catch with a sharp take and immediately appealed along with Jadeja.
The on-field umpire Bongani Jele was unmoved though and given it not out. Jadeja was the acting captain at that time as Suryakumar Yadav took off the field with an ankle injury and decided to take a review. But much to his surprise, the DRS couldn't be taken as it was unavailable.
The Indian team was disappointed as the DRS returned at the end of the over, denying them a clear wicket due to technical issues. Luckily, it didn't cost India as much as Miller and co. failed to capitalize on that opportunity.
India skittled South Africa for just 95 runs and won the match by 106 runs to end the series on level terms. Earlier, it was a Suryakumar Yadav as the Indian captain scored his 4th career T20I century to take India to 201 at the end of their full quota of overs.
As the T20I series concludes, the focus now shifts to the three-match ODI series which commences from Sunday (December 17).
