IND vs SA: India and South Africa are all set to face off against each other in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday, June 29. The Men in Blue have a lot on stake going into the match.

Rohit Sharma's unbeaten India are looking to bury the memories of the defeat in the final of the ODI World Cup in 2023. They also want to end their 11-year- old drought for an ICC trophy, and also they want to give Virat Kohli, Rohit and Rahul Dravid a perfect farewell.

While Rahul Dravid's coaching tenure is set to end with India's final match of the T20 World Cup 2024, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are understandably playing their last T20 World Cup (or World Cup).

India have been brilliant on the field to remain unbeaten going into the final, but they are also paying attention to matters off the field. Call it superstition or anything, India have asked for the same dressing room at the Kensington Oval which they were allotted during their Super 8 match against Afghanistan.

As per a report by journalist Vimal Kumar on his YouTube channel, India requested for the same dressing to Cricket West Indies (CWI) officials. The report added that India liked the vibe of that particular dressing room.

Rain threat looms on India vs South Africa final

There are high chances of rain interruptions during the summit clash between India and South Africa. It rained heavily the night before the match. There is a reserve day for the final but the weather forecast for Sunday is gloomier. In case the match is abandoned, India and South Africa will be jointly declared the winners of T20 World Cup 2024.
