India managed to score 176 for 7 in their 20 overs after batting first in the T20 World Cup 2024 Final on Saturday against South Africa.
Batting first, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant got dismissed very earl for India. As the team was tottering, Virat Kohli and Axar Patel stitched a massive partnership for India to take them out of that trouble.

Axar Patel played a brilliant knock of 47 runs in 31 balls before getting run out in an unfortunate manner. Kohli continued his onslaught and got to his first half-century of this T20 World Cup.
The India stalwart scored 76 runs off 59 deliveries, hitting 6 fours and 2 sixes. It was a monumental batting display from Kohli, who managed only 75 runs in the last seven matches in the tournament. Thus the 35-year-old bettered his tally of the last seven matches in just a solitary match.
Kohli and Axar added 72 massive runs for India and were instrumental in India reaching 176 runs. And during their batting, the Indian batters exerted a lot of cheer from the Barbados crowd. There were plenty of Indians at the stands who were cheering the duo when they were hitting boundaries and sixes.
But the biggest cheer came from an Axar Patel six which he hit during his knock. That six over Long on took the roar meter to 119 decibels, the highest during the Indian innings. One of Virat Kohli's sixes took the decibel level to 115, but Axar's six stood tall with the biggest roar from the crowd at the Kensington Oval.
