India captain Rohit Sharma and batter Virat Kohli have created a unique record in the T20 World Cup Final against South Africa on Saturday (June 29).
India won the toss and captain Rohit chose to bat first in Barbados. And in the first over, Virat Kohli got to the record in the very first over of the match.

Virat Kohli gave India a superb start to India with three boundaries in the first over. The Indian stalwart hit three exquisite shots off Marco Jansen and in the third ball of his innings, became the first Indian to face 3,000 deliveries in T20I cricket.
India captain Rohit Sharma followed suit in the next over. He faced his 3000th delivery in the bowling of Keshav Maharaj and scored a boundary in that delivery. But Rohit Sharma departed in that very over and departed only after scoring 9 runs off 5 balls.
In T20I cricket, Rohit Sharma has the most runs but Pakistan batter Babar Azam has faced the most number of deliveries with 3211 balls faced in his career.
