India captain Rohit Sharma is set to lead the team in the Final of the T20 World Cup today (June 29) against South Africa.
After a fantastic outing in the T20 World Cup so far, team India will be hoping to cross the final frontier, and in front of them are the mighty South Africa, who are themselves invincible in the tournament as well.

Rohit Sharma will be hoping for redemption after the heartbreak in the World Cup 2023 Final when India lost to Australia last year. Seven months after that disaster in Ahmedabad, the whole country is hoping for a better outing this time around.
As the Indian captain looks for glory, his deputy Hardik Pandya has already racked up a prestigious record of his own as he plays the Final.
As Hardik Pandya is playing the Final, the India vice-captain has become only the 3rd Indian player to play in 100 T20I matches for India. The all-rounder made his T20 debut in 2016 and since then been a mainstay in the T20 team for India.
The 30-year-old has scored 1487 runs at an average of 26 and has also picked up 81 wickets with the ball in T20I cricket.
Rohit Sharma has played the most T20 matches for India as he is playing his 159th match. Virat Kohli is also the second in the list with 125 matches.
