IND vs SA: Tilak, Sanju star as India clinch series 3-1 after resounding victory by 135 Runs
India achieved a resounding triumph over South Africa in the fourth T20I, securing the series with a 3-1 lead on November 15. The team showcased an impressive performance at Wanderers, clinching victory by 135 runs.
This victory marks India's fifth consecutive bilateral T20I series win, underlining their dominance in the format.

In a display of remarkable batting, Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma each hit centuries, propelling India to their highest T20I total outside their home turf at 283 runs. Samson remained not out at 109, and Varma also stayed unbeaten at 120, breaking numerous records during their partnership.
The challenge proved insurmountable for South Africa, who struggled from the onset of their chase. India's Arshdeep Singh swiftly dismantled the hosts' batting order by claiming three early wickets, significantly hampering their momentum. Despite efforts from Tristan Stubbs and David Miller, who scored 43 and 36 respectively, the target remained out of reach for the South Africans, who were all out for 148 runs. Alongside Arshdeep's pivotal strikes, Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel contributed to the team's bowling success by taking two wickets each.
This comprehensive victory not only secured India's series win but also highlighted their capacity to set formidable totals and defend them with a potent bowling attack. The combination of Samson and Varma's record-setting batting and the effective bowling by Singh, Chakravarthy, and Patel underscored a well-rounded team performance.
India's series win against South Africa further cements their position as a formidable force in international T20 cricket. With five consecutive bilateral series victories, the team continues to build on its successes. Tilak Varma also won the Player of the Series after amassing 280 runs in the series. Varun Chakravarthy got the Game Changer of the series award for his 12 wickets in four matches.
