IND vs SL 3rd T20I: Sanju Samson and Two More Players Out? India Predicted Playing 11 vs Sri Lanka

By MyKhel Staff

A rain-marred match ended in India's favour as Suryakumar Yadav and his men won the 2nd T20I against Sri Lanka on Sunday (July 28).

With the victory, India has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead against the Lankans and have now sealed the T20 series.

Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of the Indian team, will be tempted to make a few changes as they play the final match of the series on Tuesday (July 30). Sanju Samson came in the 2nd match for Shubman Gill but was largely disappointing. The Kerala-born scored a golden duck with the bat, further denting his prospects in the team.

Ahead of the final match on Tuesday, team India may make a number of changes. Shivam Dube, Khaleel Ahmed and Washington Sundar haven't played a single match in the series and may get a game on Tuesday.

Dube can replace Hardik Pandya, while Khaleel Ahmed may get a chance in the place of Arshdeep Singh. Washington Sundar, who had an outstanding outing in Zimbabwe, is likely to find a place in the team replacing Axar Patel.

Sanju Samson's case is an interesting one. The India player may still be given a chance in the match against Sri Lanka, but Samson will have to make the opportunity count. India captain Suryakumar Yadav has led his players superbly in the series. As the T20 series concludes on Tuesday, the next assignment will be a three-match ODI series.
