IND vs SL 3rd ODI Twitter Reaction: India has received a huge reality check after a dismal outing in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, losing 2-0 in the process.
India faced a tough defeat in the third ODI against Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday, losing by 110 runs. This loss marked India's first bilateral ODI series defeat to Sri Lanka since 1997.

Chasing a target of 249 runs, India crumbled and were eventually all out for 138 in just 26.1 overs. The hosts secured a famous series win, with the first match ending in a tie and Sri Lanka winning the second ODI by 32 runs.
Sri Lankan spinners dominated throughout the series, causing significant trouble for India's batting lineup. Dunith Wellalage was particularly impressive, securing his second five-wicket haul against India and playing a crucial role in Sri Lanka's historic series win.
Rohit Sharma was the only consistent performer for India with the bat, scoring 35 runs off 20 balls. However, his opening partner Shubman Gill struggled again, managing only 6 runs off 14 balls before being bowled by Asitha Fernando. After Rohit's blitzkrieg ended, India fell like house of cards.
Wellalage dismantled India's middle order, dismissing Virat Kohli (20), Axar Patel (2), and Shreyas Iyer (8). Kohli and Iyer continued their underwhelming outing and then debutant Riyan Parag also got out after scoring 15 runs. Washington Sundar scored a fighting 30 but Maheesh Theekshana ended his resistance, thus scripting a monumental win for Sri Lanka.
This has become the first huge setback for India since Gautam Gambhir's charge as the India head coach. Despite having the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli in the team, India has looked out of sorts in batting.
The social media was also in awe of this amazing collapse and reacted to their horrific performance. Check out some of the reactions-
This fan has accused Gautam Gambhir for the defeat and demands his sacking. Calm down maybe!
This Sri Lankan team deserves enormous credit for their performance. They were losing players for injuries and as many as six first team players missed out. Without the likes of Wanindu Hasaranga, Matheesha Pathirana and others, this result is a commendable one.
"Sri Lanka must be a very happy cricket team tonight. They have beaten India after 27 years. Congrats to Sanath Jayasuriya and Asalanka. Special mentions to Avishka Fernando and Dunith Wellalage for today," Ravichandran Ashwin tweeted.
