Mohammed Shami has bamboozled Sri Lanka to produce another brilliant performance in the ICC World Cup 2023 match.
The Indian pacer was excellent in the match as he picked up a five-for to decimate the Sri Lankan batters. Chasing 358 runs, it was a combined bowling effort from the Indian seamers which pinned the Lankan team and skittled them for just 55 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj gave India a superb start. Siraj picked up three wickets and rattled their top-order, and then Shami followed it up with a stellar spell. Shami also won the Player of the Match award for his fantastic bowing display.
"Yeah, I am trying (to do my best), as always, trying to pitch the ball in the right areas and trying to find the right rhythm, because in big tournaments, if you lose the rhythm it's very difficult to get it back. So right from the start, the attempt has been to focus on the right areas and right lengths, and it's working, so why not try to repeat it?" the Indian pacer said at the post-match presentation.
