Sri Lanka have not only won their last 13 ODI matches but they have now also bowled out their opposition in each of their last 14 matches. The streak was expected to be broken by India, but the Sri Lanka spin unit led by Dunith Wellalage gave no reprieve to star India batters who piled up 356/2 against Pakistan on Monday.

20-year-old left-arm spinner Dunith Wellalage picked his career best figures of 5/40 in 10 overs. The first four wickets of the Indian innings belonged to him. He clean bowled Shubman Gill (19) first before getting rid of Virat Kohli (3) and Rohit Sharma (53). KL Rahul, who scored 39 off 44, was his fourth victim. Later, he completed his maiden five-wicket haul by helping Sri Lanka get rid of Hardik Pandya (5).

Off-spinner Charith Asalanka was also on the money, taking four wickets for 18 runs in nine overs. Maheesh Theekshana dismissed Axar Patel (26) on the first ball of the 50th over to wrap up India innings and make it an all-spin affair to bundle out India for 213.
