India has ensured their progression to the Super Eights of the T20 World Cup 2024 after a comprehensive victory over USA on Wednesday (June 12).
India won the match by 7 wickets against the co-hosts at the Nassau County Stadium to seal their berth in the Super Eights.

Rohit Sharma won the Toss and elected to field first. USA could only manage 110 for 8 in their 20 overs. Arshdeep Singh was the star of the show for India with four wickets. In the run chase, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma departed early but Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav steadied the innings. The latter ended up with an unbeaten half-century, while Shivam Dube also scored an unbeaten 31 to take India home with ten balls to spare.
