The 2nd Test between India and West Indies is on the final day at Queen's Park Oval on Monday (July 24).
India are currently in the driving seat to win the match as West Indies require 289 runs to win on the final day, while the visitors need 8 wickets to clinch the match and the series.

With already a 1-0 lead in the series, Rohit Sharma and his troops will be hoping to take the title and would definitely aim for a 2-0 win in the Test series. As India look forward to winning the match, West Indies will hope to show some resistance with their bat.

The weather on Monday (July 24) at the Queen's Park Oval will be mostly cloudy and the temperature will be around 30° C for the day. The temperature can dip to around 29 during the flag end of the match.

Rain has stopped at Queen's Park Oval. The ground staff have started flushing the water out from the outfield. The covers are also coming off slowly as live visuals show blue skies above. Only the hessian cover is on the pitch currently.

At the close of play on Day 4, West Indies were 76 for the loss of 2 wickets in 32 overs. Tagenarine Chanderpaul (24*) and Jermaine Blackwood (20*) have shared a partnership of 32* off 72 deliveries. They need 289 more runs to win and India need 8 more wickets to go clean sweep the two-match Test series.
We have already lost 40-plus vital minutes on day five. It has become heavy once again and the wait continues.
