IND vs WI: Aakash Chopra predicts India eleven for 2nd T20I, reveals Yashasvi Jaiswal's debut chances

India will take on West Indies in the second T20I of the 5-match series on Sunday, August 3 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. India lost the first T20I in Trinidad by four runs.

Predicting India's playing eleven for the second T20I, Aakash Chopra has said that chances of Yashasvi Jaiswal making his debut in the format is highly unlikely as there is no slot left for him. Notably, Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill opened in the first T20I and chance of a change in the opening combination just after one game is minimal.

"Can there be a change from the Indian team's viewpoint? It has been a point of discussion that Sanju Samson should come at No. 3, and SKY (Suryakumar Yadav) should be moved to No. 4, Tilak Varma to No. 5 or No. 6 and Hardik (Pandya) at No. 5.

"Why should you do that? It's going fine the way it is. In my opinion, there isn't a lot of scope for change. Only one batter is sitting outside, that is Yashasvi Jaiswal. You want to play Yashasvi Jaiswal but where will he play?" Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel.

The former India opener has suggested that India would walk in the second match with the same eleven which featured in the first T20I at the Brian Lara Stadium.

"Should you change the team after one match, unless you see the pitch and it has a lot of grass, so you play all fast bowlers, or else it is an extremely turning pitch, so you drop a fast bowler," he further added.

"Other than that, why would you make a change in the XI? So if everybody is fit and available for selection, I feel India will play an identical team. I am not even saying almost identical. The team that played in the last match, the same team can play here," he concluded.

India had left out Jaiswal, Umran Malik, Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi from the first T20I. The second match will kick off from 8:00 PM IST.
