India Masters clinched the inaugural International Masters League (IML) 2025 title with a dominant six-wicket victory over West Indies Masters in front of a packed SVNS International Stadium on Sunday.
Led by Sachin Tendulkar, India Masters delivered an all-round performance to outclass Brian Lara's side and etch their name in history.

After opting to bat, West Indies Masters posted a modest 148/7, built around Lendl Simmons' counterattacking 57 off 41 balls. Brian Lara and Dwayne Smith gave their side a flying start, adding 34 runs in under four overs. However, Vinay Kumar removed Lara, shifting momentum. Shahbaz Nadeem then dismissed Perkins and Smith, while Pawan Negi and Stuart Binny tightened the screws with crucial breakthroughs.
In response, India Masters got off to a strong start with a 67-run opening stand between Tendulkar and Ambati Rayudu. Tendulkar played fluently before falling to Tino Best after 25 runs, while Rayudu led the charge, reaching his fifty in 34 balls. He added 28 runs with Gurkeerat Singh Mann before the latter departed to Ashley Nurse.
With India in control, Sulieman Benn removed Rayudu, who struck nine fours and three sixes in his 50-ball knock, while Nurse trapped Yusuf Pathan lbw. However, Stuart Binny sealed the victory in style with two towering sixes, guiding India Masters to the target with 26 balls to spare.
