IND vs WI: Yashasvi Jaiswal hit a fifty on his India debut on Day 2 of the ongoing first Test between India and West Indies in Dominica. The 21-year-old brought up his fifty with a four off pacer Alazarri Joseph on the second ball of the 33rd over.
A short ball from Joseph was pulled by Jaiswal through mid-wicket. The Mumbai batter soon looked up in the sky to thank the almighty and raised his bat towards the dressing rooms and fans who stood up to applaud the rising star of India.

The southpaw, who was part of the stand-by list of India players for the WTC final versus Australia, got his maiden India call-up in June for the 2-Test series against West Indies. He has also been picked for the 5-match T20I series which will follow the Test and 3-match ODI series.
Yashasvi went on an unbeaten score of 40 at the end of Day 1. Rahkeem Cornwall tested Jaiswal for a moment early on Day 2 before the youngster got to the landmark on the 104th ball of his innings.
He has also brought up a century opening stand with captain Rohit Sharma in his debut Test innings. Fans have hailed the Uttar Pradesh-born cricketer for his stunning entry in international cricket.
Earlier, West Indies won the toss and opted to bat first but could manage to post only 150 runs on the board. India are eyeing for a thumping win in the series-opener now.
