India versus West Indies three-match ODI series will kick off on Thursday, July 27 with the first game at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. The second ODI will also be played at the same venue on Saturday, July 20. Queen's Park Oval will host the third and final ODI in Port of Spain on Tuesday, August 1. All the matches will start from 7:00 PM IST.

Both the teams have announced their squad for the mouth-watering encounters which are on the cards. A few key players from both the sides will be missing but despite that, the two teams have a lot of white-ball superstars featuring in their line-ups.

India team news and injury updates

India are fresh from their 1-0 Test series win against West Indies. They would be aiming to grab the ODI series now. India lost their previous 50-over bilateral series against Australia in March and would be hoping to get back to winning ways in the format. Also, with the Asia Cup 2023 and ODI World Cup 2023 fast approaching, the three matches come as a perfect dress rehearsal opportunity.

The likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson, Umran Malik, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav would be joining the Indian team for the ODI leg of the tour.

India injury updates: KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna and Rishabh Pant continue to recover from their injuries and are not part of the series.

West Indies team news and injury updates

West Indies are starting all over again after failing to qualify for the ODI World Cup for the first time in their cricketing history. Shimron Hetmyer has been recalled after a gap of two years. Regulars Nicholas Pooran and Jason Holder are not part of the series due to personal reasons. They were not available for selection. West Indies have won only one of their last five matches.

West Indies injury updates: Pacer Jayden Seales and leg-spinner Yannic Cariah have been included following their rehabilitation from surgery. Left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie has also recovered from injury and has been included in the 15-member squad. Keemo Paul is yet to recover from injury.
