Suryakumar Yadav blasted 83 runs off just 44 balls in the third T20I against West Indies on Tuesday to help India win by seven wickets and 13 balls remaining.
The innings which consisted of four sixes, also helped the 32-year-old batter equal Chris Gayle's record for fastest to 100 T20I sixes. Like West Indies great Gayle, the Indian T20I team vice-captain hit his 100th T20I six in his 49th innings.

The list is being led by West Indies opener Evin Lewis who achieved the feat in 48 innings. Former Australia captain Aaron Finch hit his 100th T20I six in his 70th innings.
The Mumbai batter has now played in 51 T20I matches and scored 1780 runs at an average of 45.64 and a strike rate of 174.33. The 49 innings have now seen him hit 101 maximums.

Suryakumar Yadav is also only the third Indian batter to hit 100 T20I sixes. Rohit Sharma, the batter to score most sixes in T20I cricket, has 182 maximums to his name in 140 innings (148 matches). Virat has smashed 117 sixes in 107 innings (115 matches). KL Rahul is one short of a hundred T20I sixes. He has hit 99 sixes in 68 T20I innings (72 matches).
