Ishan Kishan on Sunday brought up his maiden Test fifty off just 33 balls during India's second innings on Day 4 of the ongoing second Test at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain. India declared their second innings at 181/2 and set a 365-run target for West Indies.

Kishan scored his first Test run off 20 balls during his Test debut in the first Test in Dominica. In the first second Test match, the 25-year-old southpaw could score just 25 runs off 37 balls.

However, the pocket-sized dynamite was in his elements in the second innings as India looked to declare soon enough to give themselves a chance to win the series 2-0. Kishan smashed four fours and two sixes during his unbeaten 52-run knock off 34 balls.

He brought up his fifty with a one-handed six over long-on on the fifth delivery of the 24th over from Kemar Roach. Immediately on the next delivery, he played the falling sweep and reminded everyone of Rishabh Pant - his under-19 teammate whose shoes he is trying to fill.

Fans also spotted 'RP17' printed on the bat Kishan was playing with. "He is using Rishabh Pant's bat," a fan tweeted.

The innings from the Patna-born star helped India to post 181/2 runs in just 24 overs before declaring their second innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 38 off 30, while captain Rohit Sharma scored 57 off 44. Shubman Gill remained unbeaten on 29 off 37. Here's how Twitter has reacted to the innings from Ishan Kishan.
