IND-W vs AUS-W: Richa Ghosh shows brilliant awareness, runs Beth Mooney Out - Watch

India Women cricketer Richa Ghosh pulled off an excellent run out of Australian batter Beth Mooney in the one-off Test match in Mumbai on Saturday (December 23).

The Day 3 of the Test has started and the Indian women are on top of their opponents Australia. After securing a mammoth lead of 187 runs, Harmanpreet Kaur and co. have inflicted further damage to the Australian batting in the second innings.

It was a decent start from Australia in their second innings as Beth Mooney and Phoebe Litchfield provided them with a stormy batting display. Mooney and Litchfield were on course to their 50-run opening partnership, but Richa Ghosh pulled off a stunning fielding show to send Mooney packing.

In the bowling of Sneh Rana, Mooney blocked the ball and it went straight at silly point. Mooney then, uncharacteristically stepped out and casually tried to return to the crease. Richa Ghosh at the silly point saw the opportunity and in a blink, she threw the ball at the stumps and it hit.

Mooney was too late when she attempted to plant her bat in and had to depart after scoring 33 off 37 balls. This was an utter horrific batting show from an experienced campaigner like Mooney, but equally excellent from the Indian youngster Richa, who seized the opportunity with both hands.

India also picked up the wicket of Phoebe Litchfield next as Australia are currently 63 for 2 at Lunch on Day 3 of the Test match.
