India Women team scripted history with a resounding Test victory over the England Women's team on Saturday (December 16).
Harmanpreet Kaur and her troops decimated England and recorded a victory by a mammoth 347 runs to win the one-off Test series in Mumbai.

India's scintillating batting outing in the first innings, where they scored 428 runs, laid a strong foundation for them in the match. In reply, England Women were bowled out for just 136 runs in the first innings.
Deepti Sharma's fiery spell skittled the English for just 136 runs, as the Indian bowler got a five-for, conceding just 7 runs. India took the batting again and scored a quick fire 186 before declaring, thus presenting a mammoth target of 479 runs for Heather Knight and her team.
But the story was even bleaker for the visitors in the second innings, who could only manage 131 runs and succumbed to India's trio of spinners. Deepti Sharma was the star again with 4 wickets, while Pooja Vastrakar and Rajeshwari Gayakwad got three and two wickets respectively.
