In the first match, Karun Nair starred with a commanding double century, scoring 207 in India A's first-innings total of 557. Sarfaraz Khan impressed once again with a gritty 92, reinforcing his case for national selection. In response, the Lions posted 587, with opener Tom Haines unbeaten on 103 and Max Holden contributing 64.
India A's second innings saw another dominant batting display as Jaiswal, Easwaran, Jurel, and Nitish Reddy all scored brisk half-centuries, guiding the team to 241/2 in just 41 overs before the match ended in a stalemate. Both sides showcased depth and temperament, with standout individual performances making strong cases for future international opportunities.
