The BCCI on Sunday (September 22) announced an unchanged India squad for the second Test moments after Rohit Sharma's men hammered visitors Bangladesh by 280 runs in the first match in Chennai.
"The Men's Selection Committee has retained the same squad for the second Test of the IDFC FIRST Bank Test series against Bangladesh. The second Test will be played in Kanpur from 27th September," BCCI said in a statement.

Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, Yash Dayal, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav were the four players who sat out in the first Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
While the Chennai Test was played on a red soil pitch, the match in Kanpur will be played on a black soil pitch. Instead of playing three pacers and two pacers like the first Test, India could look to change the combination and field an extra spinner. Local boy Kuldeep Yadav could be a tempting option.
An unchanged squad for the second Test also means that Mohammed Shami would now aim to make a comeback with the three-Test series against New Zealand in October-November.
India defeated Bangladesh by 280 runs on Day 4 of the first Test. Ravichandran Ashwin picked a five-fer and hit a hundred in the match. Rishabh Pant also made his comeback to Test cricket with a hundred.
Shubman Gill bounced from his first innings duck to score a hundred in the second innings. Also, Ravindra Jadeja picked five wickets in the match and scored 86 runs in the first innings.
