India will kickstart their World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia on October 8.
The World Cup is back on Indian soil after 12 years and will start from October 5 across the length and breadth of the country.
The entire nation is up for the biggest tournament which will consist of 10 teams. The official schedule of the ICC World Cup 2023 has been announced on Tuesday (June 27) as the apex body of cricket unveiled the fixtures list of the upcoming extravaganza.

A ten-team World Cup this year will be played in India only and ICC, in collaboration with BCCI announced it with a special show in Mumbai.
The Indian team will be playing all of the remaining nine teams in the group stages. Rohit Sharma and his troops kickstart their campaign against Australia on October 8 at the Chepauk Stadium. The blockbuster clash against Pakistan will be taking place on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
India will play Afghanistan in Delhi, whereas the clash against South Africa will be on November 5 in Kolkata.
Rohit Sharma and his men will be up against the defending Champions England on October 29 in Lucknow, and the picturesque Dharamshala stadium will host their tie against New Zealand, just before the England tie.
India's two matches against the two Qualifying teams will be played in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The match against Sri Lanka will be at the Wankhede Stadium, whereas the Indian team will finish their group stage campaign against Netherlands in Bengaluru.
