Taliban fear: Terror attack likely during Ind-Pak semi final

Islamabad, Mar 25: When the entire nation was busy in celebrating its victory in India-Australia quarter final in , Pakistan once again raised the security issue for their players. According the Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik confirmed that terror outfit Taliban is now active in India and a massive terror attack soon may assail to mar the world cup fever.

Accepting the news that some suspicious people were arrested, Malik stated, "Let's not forget that terrorists have got no boundary or religion. There are several indications that the Taliban have started their activities in India."

Extending the helping hands towards India to nail the terror fear, Malik also said, "I am saying this on record and I have also informed India. We must work together to stop the work of terrorists."

The Pakistani interior minister raised the terror issue once again after his meeting with Interpol Secretary General Ronald K Noble on Thursday, Mar 24.

No comment has been given from Indian side yet. Indian and Pakistan will face the semi-final in Mohali on Mar 30. However, Nobel claimed, "Last week, with the help of Pakistan, we identified and arrested the terrorist who had left Karachi... Thanks to the cooperation (of Pakistan) and other countries, we were able to make sure that the World Cup remains safe."
