India pile up 338 for three; Ganguly misses ton

Nagpur, Jan 21 (UNI) Powered by half centuries by Sourav Ganguly, Gautam Gambhir, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rahul Dravid, India put up a mammoth score of 338 runs for three wickets in the first one-day match against West Indies at the Vidarbha Cricket Association ground here today.

The highlight of the day was Ganguly's 98 and Mahendra Singh Dhoni's pyrotechnics, who along with captain Rahul Dravid put on 119 runs in just 11.5 overs to take India closer to the 350 mark.

For West Indies, off spinner Chris Gayle with two for 50 was the pick of the bowlers.
