The Indian team has been tipped to make a few tweaks in their lineup for the Champions Trophy 2025 clash against New Zealand.
India will be up against New Zealand in their final group stage encounter on Sunday (March 2).

After winning against Bangladesh and Pakistan respectively, Rohit Sharma and his troops have qualified for the semifinals. The match against the Kiwis will determine the top place in Group A, and both teams will be hoping to finish on a high.
Both India and New Zealand are in excellent form and it promises to be a close encounter between them. But ahead of the match, a few reports have suggested that Gautam Gambhir and his think tank may make a few changes.
Rohit Sharma, who suffered a niggle in the last match, may be rested if he is not completely fit. In that case, KL Rahul is set to open with Shubman Gill, with the latter also captaining the team at the grand stage. Rishabh Pant is the likely replacement and will be playing in the middle order. Similarly, Mohammed Shami may also be given a break and Arshdeep Singh may come into the side.
Although India have gone with three spinners in Axar Patel, Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav - the New Zealand clash may witness Varun Chakravarthy coming in for Kuldeep, thus adding a different layer of bowling attack.
