The BCCI has announced the schedule for India's senior men's team home international season spanning 2026-27. This season includes tours from four teams-West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Australia-across multiple formats, totaling 22 matches in 17 venues nationwide.

Ahead of the 2027 ODI World Cup, the Indian team will play a number of matches across the globe, and the BCCI announced the home schedule.

India Home Schedule ahead of 2027 ODI World Cup

West Indies (September 2026 ): In the 2026-27 cricket season, the West Indies series will be the first one. The series starts with a 3-match ODI affair in Trivandrum, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh, followed by a 5-match T20I series in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. This marks the West Indies' return to India since their 2022 white-ball tour, testing both sides' preparations for global events like the 2027 Champions Trophy.

Sri Lanka (December 2026): A white-ball series with 3 ODIs in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad, plus 3 T20Is in Rajkot, Cuttack, and Pune. It builds on recent India-Sri Lanka encounters, including their 2024 white-ball tours.

Zimbabwe (January 2027): Limited to a 3-match ODI series in Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. Zimbabwe's visits remain infrequent, last seen in a 2024 T20I series, offering India squad rotation opportunities post major tournaments.

Australia (Border-Gavaskar Trophy, from January 21, 2027): A blockbuster 5-match Test series opener in Nagpur, then Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi, and Ahmedabad. This high-stakes rivalry, with India holding a 2-1 lead in the last two home series (2018-19, 2023), could influence World Test Championship standings.

India Away Schedule in 2026-27 Season

India will travel to Ireland and England for a tour in June-July this year. In Ireland, they will play 2 T20Is, followed by a multiformat white-ball series in England. The Indian team is expected to play more matches in New Zealand and other countries, but the schedule hasn't been announced yet.
