India have announced the squad for the upcoming Ireland T20I matches. There will be a three-match T20I series between the two sides which starts from August 18.
The Indian team has been announced on Monday (July 31) and pacer Jasprit Bumrah has made a return to the side after his long injury hiatus. And not just that, Bumrah will also lead the Indian side in the T20I series.

Ruturaj Gaikwad has been named as Bumrah's deputy. A host of new names have been included in the squad as the likes of Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, Jitesh Sharma have been included.
Bumrah last played for India in September last year and since has been out with a back injury. But it is finally positive news for the Indian team as the star bowler is set to return in the Ireland series. He went through extensive rehabilitation at the NCA in Bengaluru and will be hoping to rejuvenate himself ahead of the World Cup later this year.
India have also named Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh as the pacers while Mukesh Kumar will lead the line. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube will also be travelling to Ireland, so is Sanju Samson who will be hoping to do justice to his immense talent.
