India vs Afghanistan 2nd T20I Playing 11: India will lock horns against Afghanistan in the 2nd T20I match of the three-match series on Sunday (January 14) at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.
India won the first match in Mohali comfortably by 7 wickets, and will be aiming to wrap up the series with a victory on Sunday. The Afghans have never won a match against India at any format and they will have to step up with their performance to change that.

India missed out Virat Kohli in the first match but the veteran batter is set to return for the second match. Yashasvi Jaiswal also missed the last match but may remain sidelined for this match. In terms of the other selection, team India may stick with the same team. Shivam Dube and Axar Patel, the stars of last match are expected to retain their places.
Afghanistan showcased their talent in patches in Mohali, but they need to be more consistent throughout the entirety to beat a strong Indian team. Mohammad Nabi, Mujeeb Ur Rahman were their key players and both are expected to play again. Ikram Alikhil may get a game replacing Rahmat Shah, who had a poor outing in the first match.
