Team India will host Afghanistan in a three-match T20I series in their last Twenty20 International assignment ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 later this year.
The Men in Blue and their visitors are yet to announce their squads for the T20I series, which is scheduled to start on January 11 at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. The action will then shift to Indore on January 14 before the series concludes in Bengaluru on January 17.

While this will be the first-ever Three-Match T20I Series between the two nations, India and Afgahnistan have crossed paths in Asia Cup and T20 World Cup matches earlier. In 5 previous IND vs AFG head to head meetings, India remain unbeaten against Afghanistan.
The Indian T20 sides has also won 3 of their last 5 outings, including the most recent series levelling win in South Africa, while Afghanistan are fresh from a 2-1 away series win against UAE.
Now as the two sides are set to test their squads for the upcoming World Cup, here is a look at the broadcast details, the India vs Afghanistan T20I schedule and experts panel list for the series:

"Afghanistan has arguably had the most exhilarating development in world cricket over the past few years, so the India tour promises a perfect mix of neighbourly camaraderie and high octane T20 action," said a Viacom18 Spokesperson.
"While there won't be any dearth of cricketing excitement inside the boundary line, our endeavour outside of it is to package accessibility and personalisation for every cricket fan watching the series, be it through handheld devices or connected TV.
"2024 will see a meteoric rise in digital consumption of live sports and we are poised to fill that gap with our offerings."
