Suryakumar Yadav on Thursday (November 23) played an astonishing knock during India vs Australia 1st T20I in Visakhapatnam as his 42-ball 80 guided Men in Blue to a seven-wicket win and a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. However, a section of fans were far from impressed as they were unforgiving for his failure at the ICC World Cup 2023 Final.
SKY, who is the stand-in captain in the absence of injured Hardik Pandya, failed miserably during the World Cup final four days ago, scoring 12 runs off 28 balls. In contrast, he played a quickfire knock, laced with nine boundaries and four sixes. Fans were quick to point out that Suryakumar Yadav is just a 'flat track bully'.

Apart from Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan scored a 39-ball 58 to put India's chase on the track after the openers were dismissed cheaply. India had late hiccups in the chase as right after SKY's dismissal with 15 runs needed off 15 balls, there were three quick run outs. However, Rinku Singh did his job of finisher by staying till the end seeing India through.
